Escape...
Do you ever want to just run away? I seldom really feel that way. Even then, I'd like to take my hubby & children with me. When I was first married, I remember wishing we could spend a year together, alone on a deserted island. I couldn't seem to ever have enough time alone with him. I almost resented interruptions... As each child came along, another dimension to our love was added. We have such delight together in our babies. |
It's humbling to see what the Lord has done. The only credit I take is in seeking HIM desperately through it all.
As we all grow, life gets more & more complicated. We've watched so many people come & go from our lives. Each one had a valuable lesson to teach us. We're better people because of their influence. Even the worst experiences taught us patience, perservernce, endurance & helped us develope more strength of character than we had before.
When I'm feeling nostalgic (usually after some extreem stress) I start to see HIS hand in my life & the lives of those around me. I begin to glimpse the purpose, preparation & potential. It's usually overwhelming.
Are you going through a hardship right now?
Has life or circumstances become overwhelming?
Do you feel like you can't get a full breath of air or a moment to hear yourself think?
...Stop...
Right where you are.
...Listen...
To the little noises beneath the chaos.
...See...
Don't just look, but really SEE what God has placed in your life. No matter how small & seemingly insignificant... It's there; recognize it.
And then, soak in the LOVE HE is pouring out on you.
...then...
Share it.
Let it overflow into the lives of those around you.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
