This is a great book that could be used for new homemakers, families struggling with getting on budget, or those of us who have a hard time implementing a meal plan. (Did I just admit that? …yep, I sure did!) It would also make a great Bible Study regarding being good stewards in the kitchen and dealing with our heart attitudes regarding cooking. (Again, another thing I really don’t want to admit having an issues with!)

A note from the author:
I’m so excited to begin this journey with you in the kitchen! Faith Filled Food for Families is a two part book; The first half of Faith Filled Food for Families will be a step by step guide to a more intimate relationship with God regarding our attitude and heart in the kitchen. Learn how this deep relationship will transform the way that we approach an everyday duty like cooking and learn the secret to abundance and joy in the kitchen. The second half of our journey will be how we put all that Christ has shown us into practice in the kitchen. Whether you work at home or outside the home, you will learn to come to your cupboards with new eyes, a new perspective and a thankful heart. You will enjoy peace knowing that you are providing nice healthy meals, while staying within your budget and being a good steward of your money. You will be able to be generous and invite others to enjoy meals with you, even on the tightest of budget! No more running to the Fast Food restaurant because your cupboards seem bare and there is nothing for dinner. Besides that, you can’t afford it! Been there! Most of all…you will have a deep, new and abiding relationship with Christ which will fill your hungry soul and fill that empty cupboard. Doesn’t less stress, less worry and knowing exactly what’s in your cupboards and how to be creative with it sound good?! Not to mention the trust you will have in Christ after spending some time in our SHORT studies in the first part of Faith Filled Food for Families. Inside you’ll find printable’s, prompts and practical tips for your journey, so let’s begin!
I am a lover of food, faith and my family. I’m so excited to share my over 30 years of experience, strength and hope with you. I have 7 children, 6 grandchildren and have been married to my sweet husband for 26 years. I know how to pinch a penny in the kitchen for sure! I truly cannot think of anything that I am more passionate about than teaching God’s amazing word and how it applies to our lives, today. I love to see the ways that God works in our lives as women and moms and how He transforms our lives just by being open to Him. When it comes to meal planning, cooking and kitchen preparation, I guess you could say I’m an expert. By combining my frugal love for simple foods and my home cooked recipe creations, I will share with you how you too can become a kitchen “expert”! May the Lord bless you richly! ~Shari Lynne
