Life has been crazy hectic out here on the prairie. If you follow me on facebook or twitter, you know we've been fighting devastating wildfires again this year. It's been awful. Our family is usually wading through mud, packing bags, and preparing for tornadoes this time of year. But... for the past two years, we've been packing for evacuation from prairie fires. I have a job outside the home now, in emergency communications so the hours have been nutty and the stress high. I'm trying to stay on top of homeschooling, basic homemaking, and keep up with what the children are doing with the farm critters. I have to be real and say, I'm failing terribly.
All I want to do after night shift is sleep and watch YouTube videos! |
While the children are outside doing their farm chores and I'm in between my naps... I watch quilting tutorials. In case you are a quilter or have ever considered quilting, I'd love to share these with you.

There are other wonderful videos and YouTube channels, but for the moment these are my top three favorites. If you like this, check my Quilt and Crafty Fun playlists. Are you a quilter or crafter? I have to say that sewing and crafting are definitely part of my "therapy". I find it so relaxing and rewarding to create something beautiful for my family or friends. Hopefully now that we've had a little rain, I will have some projects to share with you soon. Please pray for the Prairie. We need a LOT more moisture before we'll be out of danger from the wildfires.
