A plea for prayer. As of this posting our home is still standing and our animals are still alive. We have evacuated our family and as many of the animals as we safely can. Rescue missions are being planned as I type. It's hard because the hubby is helping neighbors & using our little water hauling setup (we have to haul water for our animals) to be our personal fireman. The firefighters are spread too thin to be able to protect every home so we are pretty much on our own. The younger four children have been fighting a cold & croup and our oldest is asthmatic... So one of our adult daughters is running critters. Thank the LORD for such a supportive community! |
Here is a video our children did. I was not home when the fire came up. Five of our little heroes rescued the dogs & hightailed it out of the blaze with my husband on the phone with me yelling for them to come back... I tell you I had flashers on & was bookin' (safely of course) to our rendezvous point.
"This was our race out of the flames after saving the dogs...
Thanks to my lil brother for recording it. The kids were like a well oiled machine and we're absolute troopers!!
I love my siblings. ❤ " ~Kathryn Fogleman (our 25 year old little bit o' dynamite)
I thank all our facebook community of friends, family & associates for your continued prayers for our home and community.
