You can implement a simpler life?

Are you intimidated or overwhelmed when you consider any of these?
    • Grow your own food.
    • Sew your own clothes.
    • Mix your own cleaning solutions.
    • Make your own hygiene products.
    • Teach your own children.
Does minimalism sound good, but impossible to attain?
Do you find yourself drawn to old-fashioned skills and ideas?

It can be easier than you think.

Produce a truly thriving and productive life that makes an impact on your community.
    • Go back to simple living with an innovative approach.
    • Embrace simplicity through old-fashioned, Faith-based pioneer skills.
    • Learn flexibility and consistency in homesteading, homemaking & homeschooling.
    • Apply common sense ways to repurpose and reuse items from the kitchen sink to the back pasture.

    You are not alone.

People all over the world are looking for alternatives. Millions of people are searching YouTube for videos to help learn old-fashioned skills.
    • Traditional Cooking from the Colonial era, Cowboy Chuckwagon, War rations and the Great Depression.
    • Preserving foods through canning, fermenting, drying and more.
    • Sewing methods and styles for modern and historic.
    • Wool from the hoof to the spindle and loom.
    • Soap and candle making, woodworking, herbalism and more.
The problem? Where to start. The amount of information is overwhelming. And seriously, most of the people 'teaching' have only just learned it themselves.

    Learn from Seven Generations

I'm Dawnita Fogleman, 5th generation Oklahoma Panhandle Pioneer. My husband, Paul and I have homeschooled our six children and are now helping nurture the 7th generation in a simple, old-fashioned way of life. I am still learning 'new' skills. (We should never stop learning!) But I have generations of tough living I've learned from. I didn't move out here from the city. I've lived here through tornadoes, dust storms, and more. We've seen weeks without electricity. We've been devastated by loss through disaster.

    Here's what you will learn:
    • How to prepare for any disaster
    • How to simplify your lifestyle for better sustainability
    • How to put your dreams into perspective in order to lay out actionable goals
    • How to share the legacy of Faith, strong relationships and good work ethic with your children
    • How to evaluate the environment and culture you are homesteading for creating the life you want to live
    • How to get out of (or stay clear of) bridled markets by trading your own goods and services
All of this, from a Biblical perspective.

    We've walked this road before.

We know the hardships. Learn from our mistakes so you don't have to make the same ones. You can get there faster and easier, using generations before as stepping stones to success.

We don't back down and neither should you. If you have a desire to live a more sustainable life, this event will help you take the first steps. If you're already in the thick of country living and finding yourself overwhelmed, we will come along side you with support and encouragement through this event.
