Ain't he cute?! It's hard to believe that little tyke is 15 years old now. Independence Day has always been a special time for our family. Hubby has always taken the day off and we often have company over to enjoy the holiday. I love playing patriotic music inside and out. I always make Macaroni Salad and Lemonade. Sometimes we cook hot dogs & hamburgers and sometimes we smoke a brisket. If it's windy we eat inside, otherwise we enjoy a picnic in the yard fighting off flies & fending off the animals with squirt bottles and water guns. We shoot off our own fireworks if the weather allows then at sundown we drive down the road a bit and watch the town fireworks display from the hill.
