What to Read Zoo Books

My children love books about wild animals. They always have. Each child has a favorite animal:

Lion
Tiger
Giraffe
Zebra
Elephant
Koala

Most of our books are out of print now. I'm thrilled to see Usborne Books & More has so many fun looking books about the Zoo. They have sticker books, coloring books, board books, noisy books.... Books, books, books! (I do get a bit excited!)

Usborne's Noisy Zoo - Can you growl like a bear? Howl like a wolf? Little children will love to copy the sounds made by all the zoo animals in this delightful book.

Usborne Talkabout The Zoo - There's plenty to talk about, spot and count in the detailed pictures in this bright and lively book. There's also a little yellow duck and something really out of place to find in every scene.

Usborne Peek Inside the Zoo - Peek under leaves and behind doors to find noisy parrots, cheeky monkeys, very tall giraffes and lots more.

Zoo favorites may change with each visit! Usually we have to see zebras, giraffes, and red pandas - and as many more as possible, including a trip to the reptile house!

You may be right. We've only been a few times and it was 6 years ago. I remember they really liked the red panda and the yak. I think everyone's favorite at the time was the aviary though. The birds are always so beautiful!
