Tiffany is a country girl at heart, who enjoys thunderstorms, star gazing and swing sets. She’s a new Army wife who’s still learning the ways of the military, married in June of 2013. She and her husband, Travis, live in southern Georgia, and love exploring the area around them. Tiffany’s blog is about being positive and focusing on the good parts of each day, no matter how small they are. Seeing Sunshine is also about noticing God’s gifts to us. Tiffany says, “I like to call them love letters, which I got from some book but I don’t remember which one. Anyways, God’s love letters are small, simple things He gives us every day — like love notes from a significant other. These little things can brighten your day, just like sunshine. But it’s up to you to open your eyes and see them.”

Starla J. lives with her soldier husband, their two kids, two basset hounds and a cat. They are a military family. She is the Girls Ministry Coordinator at her home church. She enjoys serving our King of Kings, date nights with her husband, homeschooling her kids, encouraging other women with their walk with God, reading, crafting, sewing, cooking, chocolate and coffee. ~ “I’ve been praying for an outlet to share my journey as I’m “Pressing In” toward God. He gave me the name for this blog this morning as I was working on the mountain size pile of laundry a family of 4 can create. I pray God will use me as a vessel to bless, encourage, inspire, and motivate other women in their walk with God. All for His glory. Thank you for joining me in my journey to be the wife and mommy God wants me to be.” She wrote a sweet post about some family time when her husband came home from the ARMY this spring. You can read it at Pressing In and Pressing On.
Amanda was a former Air Force Captain who has transitioned to being a stay at home mom and Air Force wife. She and her husband met during Reserve Officer Training School (ROTC) while attending California State University, Fresno. Since then, they have lived in New Mexico and Ohio and added sweet baby boy to their family. ~ “While being in the Air Force I was deployed to Afghanistan on a Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) where we helped with the nation building of Afghanistan. Since my degree is in Civil Engineering I had a lot to do with the missions outside of the wire and begun writing letters home to tell people about my experience. This was a fun way for me to keep people informed and I have since been journaling privately and now am taking a leap and creating this blog. I hope to revamp my letter from the past and incorporate new experiences into this blog. Being in the Air Force for 6+ years and being married to someone currently serving has had a huge impact on my life. I hope the journey that I share helps inspires others in whatever they plan to accomplish.” Visit her at Airman-2-Mom.
Joanie is a military wife and blogs at Simple Living Mama. ~ “While my family and I still on a journey to living a simpler life, the mission of Simple Living Mama has shifted a bit. With the birth of my third child and my husband’s deployment I really began reevaluating myself and the message I want to share with readers here. I want to empower women in their roles as homemakers, mothers, and homeschool teachers. Simple Living Mama will strive to teach women how to create a nurturing and healthy home, how to create loving relationships with their children, and how to teach their children by putting God first. I will strive to encourage women in all of these roles from a Godly perspective.”
Laura blogs about Modesty & Homeschooling. She is especially helpful in teaching special needs such as ADHD and Autism. ~”I eventually married a very handsome Soldier (Active Duty in the Army). I am so proud of his selfless sacrifice for this country for over 18 years now! It was during our many moves that I took notice of the serious lack of modesty in women, including Christian ladies. This last move I noticed more than ever before and I really felt God leading me to take something my mom taught me long ago and share with others the importance of and how to dress modestly. Dressing Modest doesn’t mean you have to wear a tent. You can dress modern and stylish and still dress modest. I still have that love of looking for bargains and taking those pieces and putting together a wonderful, modest outfit.” Raising Soldiers 4 Christ
