In America "reindeer" are known as Caribou, which is French for 'snow shoveler'. Their antlers are very large, second only to the Moose. One interesting fact is that the females have antlers too. Caribou weigh an average of 200-400 pounds. They travel in large herds and swim across large lakes and rivers when they migrate. They can run up to 50 miles an hour. As far as I can tell though, they don't fly. I'll update you if I find evidence otherwise.
