I have not-so-lovingly dubbed our internet service "Caveman-net". Online friends & business associates wonder. They wonder what's the problem; why can't I just bebop around cyber-land like they do? -or- They wonder how I handle the frustration. Admittedly, I have more patience with most other things in my life than I have with computer frustrations. I'm a low energy person, so I have to pace myself and do things as efficiently and simply as possible. Sitting on my duff waiting for the internet to load is an interruption I fiercely dislike. Why do I endure? What would induce me to publish my heartaches, struggles, victories... online for all to see?

Life is hard, very hard. Heartbreak, sickness, and pain surround us. We ache for friends and family who are hurting and struggling. It encourages us to know we are not alone; others have survived similar circumstances, so surely we can do it too.
I've often been encouraged through hard times by someone telling me, "God will never allow anything in your life that you cannot handle." Not quite true. The verse is "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." 1 Corinthians 10:13 God will never give you more temptation than you can handle without providing a way to escape. Actually as far as those hard situations in life go 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
It's hard to "glory" in our infirmities... HE never promises to make our way easy; "strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:14 He does promise a reward if we endure. "Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets." Luke 6:23
I pray you find blessing in your visit here today. You are a special creation. You are loved!
