Fall Feast of the Lord: Trumpets, Atonement & Tabernacles

I love autumn. It's a time to start wearing layers, put more quilts on the bed, clean and light the fireplace, and pick out a few good books to curl up with.

I also look forward each year to celebrating the Feasts of the Lord. These feasts are memorials and prophetic foreshadowings of things to come.

“For as the new heavens and the new earth
    that I make
shall remain before me, says the Lord,
    so shall your offspring and your name remain.
From new moon to new moon,
    and from Sabbath to Sabbath,
all flesh shall come to worship before me,
declares the Lord."  Isaiah 66:22-23

My favorite resource for learning about the feasts together as a family is A Family Guide to the Biblical Holidays by Robin Sampson. You can get it at ChristianBook.com, her Bible Journal Love Etsy shop or several other places online. I have the paper version that is now quite worn with extra pages I've added through the years.
