Garlands Of Grace Hairwraps #AfterMyCoffee

Oklahoma wind. Need I say more? Fifty mile an hour gusts are normal. When it's calm outside, we start looking at the clouds and turning on the radio to see if we're in a tornado watch. Needless to say, hair in a tangled mess is bound to happen. Pioneer gals do one of four things:

Short hairstyle
Ponytail or braid
Handkerchief or scarf
Hat, usually a baseball cap

Sometimes all of the above still end up in a mess and seldom do any of these look feminine. I do have pink hats, actually my newest favorite is a hunter's orange with rhinestone butterfly. I also have floral hankies. Ponytail elastics break hair off, as do claw-clips...

Needless to say, I've always got my eyes open for feminine ways to keep our hair pretty, yet practical in the worst of Oklahoma weather. I've had these beauties in my wishlist for quite some time and was finally able to purchase some for the Holiday this year. I am THRILLED with these beauties! Garlands of Grace Etsy Shop has several sizes and lots of beautiful colors. What I particularly love about these is:

Stretch, they have just enough stretch to really hold your hair.
Texture, the loose weave is cool and holds the hair better than a slick, tight weave.
Hook'n eye closures. Most tie or are all one piece, maybe with elastic. These actually gather at a clasp that holds firmly, yet comes completely open.
Color! I LOVE these beautiful floral prints! They also have solid colors that will match any wardrobe. I'd like to get one of their ruched lace headwraps next to go with dressy outfits.

The gals at Garlands of Grace are friendly and package their product beautifully. These are pricey, but for such a nice quality, they are well worth the money. These ladies make sure you feel pampered by packaging them in beautiful tissue and ribbon with a hand-stamped tag. It made me feel special. You can tell they care about their customers.

Those look like something my girls would use. We tried "Easy Buns" for a while, but their hair is too long and/or heavy and they don't hold up as well.

We've been using these with our flexi-clips and it's working wonderfully. I also like that the wider ones keep your hair back without much help. (If it's not real windy.)

I love hair wraps and hairpieces. I constantly am wearing something on my head. These are so girlie, in style, and cute. I need some. I always wear a head covering to church or during prayer so I always need more. Thanks for sharing. :)
