 | Does this month seem to be flying by at lightning speed to you? I thought the rest of this year went fast, but this month seems much faster. I feel like I'm still stuck in Saturday after Thanksgiving. I've not been away from home much, but the internet is a whirl of activity. Sales, sales, sales... Wow. Well we're not buying much right now at all. Pinterest is my friend this year. I've been collecting ideas all year long in various boards with gifts in mind to make. My sewing machine and I are going to get reacquainted and start working hard to catch up. I even have a few orders. Family members know they are usually going to receive homemade gifts from my sewing stash &/or kitchen. It's tradition! |
I used to LOVE receiving homemade gifts, so now that is usually what I do for others, including my own children. Now that they are all getting old enough to make things, they are catching the creativity bug too. This year I bought some of those cloth boxes for each person in our family. As one finishes making a gift for another, we sneak it into their box. Secrets are so much fun! Would you like to see a few of the ideas I've stashed away? I don't want to give away any of my secrets, but you can take a peak and see if you can guess what I'll be doing over the next week!
