Polar Bears live in Arctic Alaska, Canada, Denmark, Norway, & Russia. They can swim for days in the icy water. The Eskimos call polar bears, Nanook. They supposedly learned how to hunt and build igloos from the polar bears. Polar bears are fascinating to watch. They look fun and cuddly but are indeed very dangerous.
Dover Publications has some fun resources. I especially like their little Polar Animal Stickers andAlaskan Wildlife Coloring book. Our children also LOVE this video of a Moma Polar Bear with her babies! Enjoy learning about Polar Bears with our linkup today! |
