I don't think our family would know what to do without puppies. Our dogs are part of our family and puppies are just some of the sweetest things God Created. In case you didn't know, our 2nd daughter raises Golden Retrievers. They make our home very interesting and keep her quite busy!
One thing we've notice people struggle with when they adopt a new puppy is discipline. Puppies need to learn self control just like we do. They really aren't the kind of pet you can just leave in the yard and hardly ever play with. They need attention and training. Puppies are a great way to teach children responsibility. |
- Puppies are born in litters. Golden Retrievers have an average of 6-12 puppies per litter!
- Puppies can't see or hear until they are about 10 days old.
- Puppies can smell better than you by the time they are a month old!
- Puppies love to chew on things and can tear up toys.
- Puppies grow FAST and are full grown by the time they are 1-2 years old.
- Puppies love to chase things. They will chase you, other puppies or small animals, and even their own tail!
