We love trains. Hubby & his dad are train buffs. One year for Christmas we saved up and bought a huge Brio set on sale from Timberdoodle. This set is like legos for us. Each year for Birthdays & Holy-days we usually buy something for the set. My personal favorites are the battery powered engines. I love sitting in front of the fire with a hot cup of tea, coffee, or cocoa and watching a little engine pull a few cute cars around the living room on the wooden track. Hubby would rather have a HO set, but I have no clue where we’d put it. This house doesn’t even have 4 connecting walls to put shelves up all along the ceiling like I’ve seen some families do. Our poor old house has low ceilings and a door or window on every wall. Oh well. When I was expecting #3, I panted the nursery yellow with bright colored stenciled trains all around. I had no clue if I was having a boy or girl, but it made sense after two girls, besides the girls and I loved trains too. As the Lord would have it, Mr. Bundle Boy loves trains and has always wanted to be a train engineer. (Granted he wants to be an Astrophysicist too… maybe he’ll invent interstellar train travel!)
