Then they went on to quote the second Percy Jackson movie. One close to the beginning, “The Christians have a God who can do this in reverse. Now THAT is a GOD!” (…referring to Jesus turning water into wine in John 2:1-11) Later in the movie, in front of the capitol building when one of the group mistakes it for Olympus, “…right down to the dudes with power that only care about themselves.”
We have to definitely agree. Our GOD is ALL we need. Who needs some puny god when we have the Master and Creator of the Universe. I get quite excited when I hear my children talk like this.
One thing I have noticed about boys; they are seldom very naive. Boys have an ability to catch things the rest of us don’t. Girls are naturally naive. I think God programed girls that way as a natural protection mechanism. We are creatures of emotion made to nurture. Men have the job of pruning, tilling, hunting, building. Boys and men usually see what’s right in front of them, while girls tend to look for feeling and hidden meaning. It’s just amazing how God made us to complement and complete each other!
