Our oldest is a Compassionate Entrepreneur for Trades of Hope. Trades of Hope is a ministry and business, marketing the handmade products of rescued and impoverished women around the world (including the USA) through home parties. It has been rewarding to see Kathryn enjoying relationships with other Christian women encouraging her to grow her business and the joy she derives from helping needy women work to provide for their families. Long distance, she has been able to follow the success stories of several women working hard creating beautiful art to provide for themselves and their children.
Each Trades of Hope item has a story to tell. There are bags, including a cute turtle backpack, various items for the home, stationary and journals, and lots of jewelry. As you can imagine this has become the special place where my gifts have been coming from for holidays. I am enjoying using the beautiful Owl Coaster Set and Double Mango Trivet (both from India) on our dining room table. I don't wear much jewelry but I love these beautiful scarves. I have the Indian Plaid and the Cloud Nine scarves. The Cambodia Clutch, Nepali Aqua Scarf, and Kancu Leaf Journal set are on my wishlist. I could easily become addicted to these wonderful, handmade products. I love having useful reminders to pray for these families.

My hubby is from India. Love hearing about organizations that are reaching out to those people.

It is really cool that your husband is from India, Trena! Some of my favorite pieces of jewelry from Trades of Hope comes from the women in India.
